Teaching

I began teaching acting in 1999 at David Kagen's School of Film Acting in Studio City. I continue to teach a weekly On-Camera class based on the teachings of Sanford Meisner and Constantin Stanislavski. In addition to my weekly class, I also coach actors privately.

As an Associate Artist with Circus Theatricals in Los Angeles where I've acted and directed for many years, I also teach acting. For Circus Theatricals I've taught a workshop based on Stanislavski's teaching as well as Scene-Study and On-Camera classes.

I'm the Founder and Artistic Director of the Riverside Drama School for kids and teens in Riverside, California. I will be teaching two classes starting in October 2010. Classes will be on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons for 12 weeks.
One class will be for 3rd -7th graders, and one will be for 8th -12th graders. The classes will include warm-ups, theatre games, improvisation, role playing and storytelling. We will also be producing a non-musical play that will come at the end of the semester in which all students will be cast.
